HalvdelAgreement
These terms are an agreement between you and the individual developer who provides Halvdel (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Halvdel. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
What Halvdel is
Halvdel helps you record shared expenses and see who owes whom. It is a record-keeping tool: it does not move money, hold funds or process payments between people. Settling up happens outside the app, and recording a payment in Halvdel only notes that it happened.
Balances are calculated from what users enter. We work hard to calculate them correctly, but you are responsible for checking amounts before relying on them, and for agreements you make with other people.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to accept these terms where you live.
- Use an email address you control and keep access to it secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Account › Delete account.
Using Halvdel fairly
Please don’t:
- break the law, or use Halvdel for fraud, money laundering or harassment;
- add people or send invitations and reminders to people who don’t want them, or post content that is abusive, hateful or infringes others’ rights;
- try to access other people’s data, get around limits, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use bots and scrapers;
- resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, after warning you where reasonable.
Your content
What you add (expenses, notes, comments, photos) stays yours. You allow us to store, process and show it to you and to the people you share it with, only to run Halvdel. Content you shared with others remains visible to them after you delete your account, as described in the Privacy Policy. Make sure you have the right to add what you add, including other people’s names and email addresses.
Free plan and Halvdel Premium
- Halvdel is free to use. Free accounts can add up to 20 new expenses in any 24 hours; we may change this limit with notice.
- Halvdel Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, bought through the App Store. The price is shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings, or from Account › Halvdel Premium in the app.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we can’t issue them ourselves.
- Features marked as coming soon are not part of what you pay for until they are released.
The App Store
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Halvdel or its support. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app; if it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply where the law allows. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Changes and availability
We keep improving Halvdel and may add, change or remove features. We try to keep it available but can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If we ever shut Halvdel down, we will tell you in advance and give you time to export your data.
Disclaimer and liability
Halvdel is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for disputes between users about money. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, or ₺1,000 if that is higher. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using Halvdel after that, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes go to the competent consumer arbitration committees and courts of Türkiye. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of your local consumer laws and can bring claims in your local courts.
